Smokey Rivers has been named PD for Entercom’s “The Sound” (KSWD-FM) in Seattle. Prior to joining Entercom, Rivers was VP of Programming at iHeartMedia in Phoenix and VP for all CBS Radio Adult Contemporary Stations.
Market Manager Jack Hutchinson said, “Smokey joins The Sound at a great time as we are already experiencing phenomenal growth with the station. Our on-air hosts John Fisher and Delilah are just getting started. We are thrilled and excited Smokey will be joining our talented team of Program Directors here in Seattle.”
