CBS News Radio earned first place honors in the Broadcast Radio Networks and Syndicators Newscast; Broadcast Radio Networks and Syndicators Breaking News or Continuing Coverage; Broadcast Radio Networks and Syndicators Feature and Human Interest Story; and Broadcast Radio Networks and Syndicators News Series categories.
The National Headliner Awards program is one of the oldest and largest annual contests recognizing outstanding journalism in newspapers, photography, radio, television, and online. The awards were founded in 1934 by the Press Club of Atlantic City.
