According to Digital Trends, Spotify may be working on an in-car controller or even a standalone music player. An announcement may be coming April 24 on the new device, Spotify’s first piece of hardware. Some Spotify customers received an announcement regarding the official Spotify Car Player.
Digital Trends reports that the device would feature 4GB of RAM and include voice controls. Customers would be charged $13 a month. An ad on Spotify mentioned that the device would be included in the price of the monthly fee, so it is possible that this price includes both the cost of the device and a premium subscription to Spotify.
