Alpha Media, Cameron-Bethany, MO, raised over $15,000 for Camp Quality, a camp for kids battling cancer, during the 33rd Annual Roy Eagan, Sr., Camp Quality Radiothon. The radiothon was held on Wednesday, March 28, with accompanying activities held throughout the week.

Market Manager Doug Schmitz said, “While the radio stations host the annual Roy Eagan, Sr. Radiothon to benefit Camp Quality, the annual effort is really a combination of the whole northwest Missouri and southern Iowa community. In addition to the on-air efforts over nearly a three-month period, we have many businesses stepping up collecting donations, student groups calling past donors during the radiothon, and even an area Catholic Church hosting a fish fry with all proceeds going to benefit Camp Quality Northwest Missouri.”
