iHeart Expects 2017 Revenue Decline. Here’s Why.

Also from the SEC filing iHeart states it expects to report consolidated revenue of approximately $6.17 billion for 2017, compared to $6.26 billion in 2016. The $89 million decrease is due primarily to the sale of the company’s Australia and Turkey business in 2016, partially offset by growth in the iHeartMedia segment as a result of an increase in national trade and barter, as well as higher spot sales in response to the company’s national investments.
