The Mentoring & Inspiring Women in Radio Group has announced the four mentees selected to participate in the 2018 MIW Group Mildred Carter Mentoring Program.
Here is the class of 2018:

• Amanda Guest, Founder & General Manager BFF.fm, Best Frequencies, Inc., San Francisco, CA.
• Jillene Khan, WMGN Afternoon Host/Social Media Director, Midwest Family Broadcasting, Madison, WI.
• Kimberly Sonneborn, Vice President of Digital Operations, Beasley Media Group, LLC, Charlotte, NC.
“Each year, we receive an abundance of applications for this coveted program and are encouraged by the caliber of female colleagues working in the radio industry,” said Lindsay Cerajewski, chair of the 2018 MIW Group Mentoring Committee and General Sales Manager of Entercom, Chicago. “We welcome our Class of 2018 and can hardly wait to open a few doors, impart some new knowledge, and provide guidance to help them reach their personal goals.”
Now in its 17th year, the program matches up-and-coming women in the radio industry with female professionals recognized as leaders in all aspects of radio. To date, there has been a total of 43 mentees. Four candidates from the radio broadcasting industry — within the sales, marketing, programming, and digital disciplines — are selected annually for the MIW Group Mentoring Program.
