KAT 103.7, “Omaha’s New Country Station,” has announced that the 16th annual Canfest, an acoustic concert, raised over $10,000 from ticket proceeds and four 50-gallon barrels of non-perishable food to benefit the Food Bank for the Heartland. Canfest took place on Thursday, March 1 at the Whiskey Roadhouse in Council Bluffs, IA. On-air personalities Steve Lundy, Gina Melton, Hoss Michaels, and EJ hosted the event, which featured performances by country artists Brandon Lay, Carly Pearce, Michael Ray and David Lee Murphy.
“Canfest is an event our listeners look forward to each year,” said Hoss Michaels, Program Director for KAT 103.7. “Thanks to our musical guests and sponsors, this year was a huge success raising over $10,000 and four 50-gallon barrels of non-perishable food to benefit those in need in our community.”
