In the Todd Clem (Bubba The Love Sponge) ratings tampering case, which is scheduled to begin in Tampa in less than two weeks, an amended witness list has been submitted to the court by Clem.
On the list is Randy Michaels who will testify in person as an expert witness. Also on the list, Beasley Media Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer Brian Beasley who will testify by deposition. Clem was working for a Beasley station in Tampa when Nielsen accused him of making contact with PPM panelists. The company eventually dropped Bubba in Tampa. Beasley still carries Clem’s show in Fort Myers. Nielsen is sueing Clem for $1 million in a lawsuit that started back in 2015.
