Chattanooga radio veteran Randy Smith, known as “Boner,” will be rejoining Entercom station Rock 105 (WRXR-FM) as afternoon show host. The new show Boner in the Afternoon will air weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m ET. Smith joined Clear Channel in 2001 as Morning Host and Program Director for Rock 105 (WRXR), a role he held for over 15 years.
“Boner is a longtime local on-air personality and we are thrilled to reunite him with the Rock 105 listeners,” said Nichole Hartman, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Chattanooga. “Boner has been a part of the fabric of the Rock 105 brand in many roles over the years and we’re excited that he will now be hosting Afternoon Drive.”
