The 17th Annual KALC-FM Alice 105.9 Cares for Kids Radiothon raised an astounding $1.3 million in 24 hours for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals benefiting Children’s Hospital Colorado. Over the years, the Denver station has helped raise more than $23.25 million to fund research, support services, programs, and comfort items for children and families that benefit from the care that Children’s Hospital Colorado provides. BJ & Jamie, Producer Sean Swallow, Sam Hill, Slacker & Steve, and Producer Lil D teamed up to interview both past and present patients of the hospital, play audio montages of children’s life-altering and inspirational stories, and solicited their listenership to make donations in support of providing the best in medical care to children.
