John Forsythe will retire from The John & Leslye Morning Show on March 30. The show airs weekday mornings on Magic 107.7, “More Variety from the 80s to Now.” Forsythe joined Leslye Gale on the show in 2010. He began his radio career in his hometown of Roswell, New Mexico while still a junior in high school. Throughout his 50-year career, Forsythe has also worked on well-known stations throughout the U.S. Forsythe is a member of the New Mexico Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

Chris Kampmeier, who first employed Forsythe in the Orlando market, said, “John is a total pro and a terrific broadcaster with a great sense of humor. Along with his on-air partner, Leslye Gale, he achieved the highest morning shares ever for MAGIC 107.7 – a great finale to a great career.”

After Forsythe’s retirement, Gale will continue to host the weekly morning program while iHeartMedia searches for a new co-host.
