Soft rock radio station 94.1 The Sound (KSWD-FM) in Seattle has added Delilah as the new midday host. Delilah on 94.1 The Sound will debut Monday, January 29, and air weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PT. The Sound will also carry Delilah’s nationally syndicated nighttime radio program Friday through Sunday from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
“Since Delilah is a Seattle local, we had the extraordinary opportunity to welcome her as the new host of middays and evenings on 94.1 The Sound,” said Jack Hutchison, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Seattle. “We are truly lucky to have such a well-recognized personality like Delilah join our team. Along with John Fisher in mornings, we are building something very special for Puget Sound listeners.”
Delilah, a Puget Sound local, National Association of Broadcasters Broadcasting Hall of Fame inductee, and National Radio Hall of Fame inductee, has hosted her popular nighttime radio program for over 30 years.
94.1 The Sound launched on December 2017 to provide Seattle’s music fans with a mix of soft rock hits from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.
