Beasley Media CEO Caroline Beasley will keynote the DiGamma Kappa scholarship banquet on Thursday. DiGamma Kappa is the official Broadcasting Society of the University of Georgia. Every year, the society presents the DiGamma Kappa Distinguished Achievement Award in Broadcasting and Cable “For Exceptional Service.”
The WSB Radio and the Innovator awards will also be presented during dinner.
Caroline Beasley is the chairman of the board at the NAB, she was Radio Ink’s 2017 “Broadcaster of the Year,” she’s been on Radio Ink’s 40 Most Powerful People in Radio list four times, and she’s been one of the Most Influential Women in Radio since Radio Ink started the list in 2003.
