WECK (AM 1230 & FM 102.9) in Buffalo has hired Buffalo broadcasting veteran Joe Chille to host afternoons. For more than 30 years, Chille hosted mornings at Buffalo’s 96.1 WJYE (now WMSX) and served as operations manager for JOY and its sister stations WBLK, Jack-FM and WYRK, until 2012. His radio resume includes on-air work at WYSL AM-/FM and WGRQ.   Chille got his start in radio at WJJL in his hometown of Niagara Falls.

“Buffalo’s Very Own WECK, is growing as the live & local, hometown radio station,” stated Buddy Shula, Owner & President of Radio One Buffalo, LLC. “We’re pleased to add Joe Chille to our lineup of Buffalo’s best-known and loved broadcasters.”
