The Connecticut station’s popular morning team take their show to Jordan’s Furniture in New Haven to raise toys for children in need this holiday season. The annual four-and-a-half-hour “Chaz and AJ McDermott Chevrolet and Lexus Toy Drive” will take place Friday, December 15, and feature music from Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad, Pink Floyd tribute bandThe Machine, and local party band Darik and The Funbags. The show will also have segments and skits with local area politicians and celebrities. The event starts at 5:30 a.m. and runs until 10 a.m. and admission is one unwrapped toy.
“This is the definition of what the holiday season is about,” said host Chaz. “Neighbors helping neighbors and a community coming together in the best way possible.”
