Univision has named Dominic Fails senior vice president of Local Media Sales overseeing sales for all of radio. Fails first joined UCI in 2014 as VP and D.O.S. for Univision Chicago. Before joining UCI, he held sales management positions at Journal Broadcast Group, NBC Universal, and Viacom, among others.
In this new role, Fails will lead the company’s radio sales teams to help deliver solutions for clients and partners. He will also be responsible for ensuring that the power of radio is leveraged as part of broader 360 initiatives, including those with opportunities in experiential, digital, and social media, as well as company’s music and sports verticals. To that effect, Fails will work closely with Jesus Lara, President of Univision Radio as well as market general managers across the country.
Fails will report directly to Jorge Daboub, Executive Vice President of Local Media Sales and continue to be based in Houston, Texas.
