HOT 96.9 was one of the supporters of Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart’s 2nd annual An Evening with Marcus Smart. The event was presented by the Friends of Cathedral High School at Towne Stove & Spirits on Wednesday, November 29, to benefit Smart’s YounGameChanger Foundation. Over $90,000 was raised, including a $25,000 donation from Smart, to provide families with seriously and chronically ill children with encouragement and life-changing experiences and to be a voice of motivation, empowerment, and encouragement to inner-city young athletes to be game-changers off the court or field.
