Just days before Veterans Day, the entire Bert Show cast and dozens of volunteers gathered to pick up thousands of The Bert Show’s “Big Thank You” letters. Over 153,000 handwritten thank-you letters were received from the nation and beyond to be delivered to U.S. troops deployed outside the United States just in time for Thanksgiving Day. The nationally syndicated talk radio show kicked off their annual “Big Thank You” campaign this fall.

“I would really like to thank every single person who participated in this year’s Big Thank You campaign,” said Bert Weiss, host of The Bert Show. “We know it must be hard to be away from friends and family during the holidays, but we hope these handwritten letters from home really brighten their days and show them just how grateful we are for their service.”

Since its inception, The Bert Show’s Big Thank You campaign has collected more than one million handwritten letters.
