Charity Begins At Lazer

Lazer Broadcasting’s listeners have donated close to $1 million for Mexico’s earthquake victims, relief for Sonoma County residents affected by the recent wildfires, and support for the hospitals of the Children’s Miracle Network. The company’s 9th annual 3-day Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon recently raised $752,228.84.

“We have partnered with Children’s Miracle Network raising close to $5 million for the kids. We are so appreciative of our listener’s efforts because with only three days in each of the last nine years, that only adds up to 27 days. Think about it, that’s less than a month of actual fundraising, we can’t say enough about our audiences,” said Terry Janisch, General Manager in Oxnard.

“We are very grateful for all of our listeners’ and clients’ support in the Children’s Miracle Network. And, with the unfortunate disasters this year, it really shows the unity of the Hispanic culture,” said Alfredo Plascencia, CEO of Lazer Broadcasting.

Lazer Broadcasting Corporation currently owns and operates 28 radio stations across 13 markets in California and five stations in Nevada.
