Former KSTL-AM afternoon drive gospel host and St. Louis native, Hernandes “PK” Union, is the new afternoon drive personality for Salem’s all-new Praise 95.1. Praise 95.1 is the first FM radio station to play contemporary Gospel music in St. Louis. The format will feature artists such as Travis Greene, Tamela Mann, Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Marvin Sapp, and Tasha Cobbs.

“PK has an infectious enthusiasm for gospel music and the St. Louis community,” said Darrel Eason, program director for Praise 95.1. “And he has an extensive knowledge of the local St. Louis gospel music scene, which means listeners really connect with him.”

  2. Hello, my name is Gerrick Ingram. May 3rd 2018 I was convicted of assaulting a student. As of July 18th if 2019 the case was dropped. It was a lot that went went through during the year and a half I was dealing with the case. My name and face was put on social media, news stations and newspapers. I am grateful for Praise 95.1 because it got me through my hard times such as stress, depression, anxiety and panic attacks. Even suicidal thoughts. I’ve been trying to get the news to clear my name since the case dropped but they aren’t willing to do it. I felt guilty even after being found innocent. I was depressed earlier but today I was listening to 95.1 and they read from Psalms 8. I had to pull over because I cried just hearing God drill has a plan for me. Hearing that verse at that moment helped with my depression and thoughts I know is from the enemy. I really appreciate the station and pray that you all continue to let God use you. It’s a blessing to me and I’m eternally grateful for you all that spread the word of God!!!
