Salem Media Group has announced that morning co-host Brian Whitman has signed a contract extension to remain co-hosting the show in Los Angeles. Whitman first joined the company in April of 2012, after previous stints with KABC and KLSX in Los Angeles, and WABC in New York. Earlier this year, Whitman was joined by Jennifer Horn as co-host of The Morning Answer. The two now broadcast weekday mornings, 6-9 a.m. on KRLA, and also on Salem’s AM 590 The Answer in Riverside-San Bernardino.

Salem President of Broadcast Dave Santrella said, “Brian has proved himself to be the consummate radio quarterback. He leads the show and the audience from one breaking news story to the next and does so in both an informed and entertaining way.”

AM 870 The Answer Program Director Chuck Tyler added, “Brian is a one-of-a-kind talent. I’m thrilled to know that he will be anchoring the Morning Answer for years to come.”

  1. I dont understand how Brian Whitman can be a radio talk person when every other word he says is “uh”. Just count the “uh’s “ sometime. Its maddening

  2. These two cracke.up. I love when Jennifrt spells it out for Brian and you can tell he gets a little hot under the collar. Love the show.

  3. I cannot listen to this show anymore. I’ve listened every morning for years now. Ever since Brian Whitman’s contract was renewed , he has become less funny, less interesting, and is extremely rude to his co-host. I literally turn the dial when I hear his voice now. He is spiteful, petty, condescending, and worst of all—predictable. Automatically assumes the worst of our president, and automatically insults Jennifer. This guy was a jerk when he was hired, and even worse of jerk now. Back to kfi.

  4. I find that Jennifer has become extreme in her views and has left her sensible New England conservatism for a more activist line of thinking. I am much more aligned with Brian, who I find is fairly mainstream and moderate. There is a fair amount of rudeness, but I also appreciate that they at least represent opposing points of view and not just two people agreeing with each other all the time and reinforcing extreme right-wing propaganda.

  5. I want to say that I like listening to you guys in the morning on the way to work I do like the opposite viewpoint but I really feel like Brian goes over the line when he’s expressing his points and its bordering on rude Jennifer is never rude and I’m starting to feel a distaste for Brian when he’s explaining his opinions. I really love Brian’s humor is voices and his commentaries on life but his ultra-liberal politics and the way he expresses them are insulting to Jennifer and to the vast majority of his followers including me. Tone down the rudeness and leave out the anger Brian let’s make this a little more fair.
