Cox Media Group has named Rob Babin, currently CMG Miami Radio’s VP/General Manager, as their Regional VP for Radio, reporting to Executive VP Bill Hendrich. Babin will oversee CMG’s Houston, Long Island, San Antonio, and Tampa radio markets, in addition to Miami.
“During his career, Rob has been a strong leader for CMG in Orlando, Atlanta, and Miami,” said Hendrich. “He has grown in leadership roles through his ability to hire and develop talented team members, create world-class work environments, and deliver results. We are fortunate to have many talented leaders at CMG to consider for critical roles like this. Rob’s understanding of the opportunities ahead, his ability to make positive connections with people, and his track record of delivering results equip him to do a fantastic job as our Regional VP.
