Bob Cooney has joined Anthony Gargano as co-host of the 97.5 FM/Philadelphia The Fanatic Morning Show. Cooney had been filling in for several months and officially began his new position on Monday, September 11. The sports media veteran has covered everything from the Flyers and Eagles to the World Series and the U.S. Open during his 25 years with the Philadelphia Daily News. He will also be involved in the station’s expanded Sixers coverage.

His reputation is incredible. Bob and Anthony are the perfect team to serve as the official voice of the Philly sports fan.”
