Cumulus Media’s WGRF/97 Rock in Buffalo raised over $100,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western New York during the 23rd Annual Make-A-Wish Radio-Thon. The fundraiser was held September 14-15, and every song played during the Radio-Thon was a request with a donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western New York. 97 Rock also auctioned off many sports and music experiences and collectible items, with all proceeds going to the non-profit organization that arranges experiences described as “wishes” to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
