T. Morgan Headed To The Hall

Longtime Philadelphia DJ T. Morgan, who just celebrated his 50th anniversary on Philadelphia radio, will be inducted into the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia Hall of Fame. Morgan first went on the air at age 15 on WICK in Scranton. He’s worked at WMGK, WYSP, WIBG, WMMR, WDAS-FM, and WIFI in Philadelphia and WWSW-AM/ WPEZ-FM in Pittsburgh. Morgan also wrote a book about his life in radio called Confessions of a Teenage Disc Jockey. The induction will be held at a dinner November 17 at the Hilton Hotel.

  1. 50 years! Hard to believe. This guy did a progressive rock show on Sunday nights on AM station WIBG in Philaephia when the rest of the station played Top 40! It was cool! Congrats to T!
