San Francisco Bay Area natives Kevin Frandsen and Drew Hoffar will host KNBR 680 AM’s new evening show, KNBR Tonight. The show debuts Monday, August 14, and will air weekdays from 7:00-10:00 p.m. PST and immediately following weekday San Francisco Giants postgame programming. Frandsen is a former Major League Baseball player who was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 2004 and went on to also play for the Los Angeles Angels, Philadelphia Phillies, and Washington Nationals, before ending his career with the Giants in 2015. He previously co-hosted on KNBR 1050’s morning show The Audible and has filled in regularly on KNBR 680 throughout the past two years. Hoffar has over 12 years of hosting experience and most recently served as lead host on KNBR 1050’s morning show The Audible alongside Frandsen.

Jeremiah Crowe, Program Director of KNBR 680AM and KNBR 1050AM, said, “Drew and Kevin are primed to make a huge impact in their new roles within KNBR Tonight. Their work ethic is unmatched and both are committed to the smallest of details that will generate a great listener experience. They are Bay Area natives whose personalities are relatable to the common fan, yet they each possess a vast knowledge of the overall sports landscape. I’m equally excited to see what they will provide us digitally and I applaud Cumulus San Francisco for putting them in a position to shine. Bay Area sports fans will find unmatched opinion, insight, and humor each evening when they tune in.”
