iHeartMedia has signed Alt 98.7 LA morning man Woody to a new 5-year deal that includes Premiere launching The Woody Show into national syndication. Woody is a 20-year radio vet who’s worked in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, St. Louis, and Portland. He joined iHeart three years ago. The Woody Show came to ALT 98.7 in 2014 from St. Louis. Prior to that, the show also saw success in Chicago and San Francisco. In 2016, The Woody Show was a NAB Marconi Radio Award finalist for Major Market Personality of the Year.
