This time on the radio station it purchased from Jeff Warshaw’s Connoisseur Media in Box Elder, SD, back in 2013. Pandora purchased KXMZ-FM for $600,000 hoping to skirt around ASCAP and BMI fees by being considered a regular radio company. That never worked out. The pure-play streamer is now selling the station to Haugo Broadcasting in Rapid City for $300,000.

Haugo owns two other FMs and one AM in the market. It’s a family company that’s been in the local market for decades. Earlier this month Pandora sold Ticketfly to Eventbrite for $200 million after purchasing the company in 2015 for $450 million

The format of KXMZ is CHR. Kalil & Company represented Pandora in the deal.
