Two New Voices For KOA Broncos Broadcasts

Rick Lewis and Tyler Polumbus have joined the Denver Broncos broadcast team on the Bronco’s flagship station, KOA NewsRadio 850 AM & 94.1 FM. Lewis will serve as color analyst and Polumbus will serve as sideline reporter. Both will contribute to the pregame and postgame shows, as well as weekday coverage of the team.

Lewis, who has been a top-rated radio personality for decades, said, “I am honored and humbled to be a part of the Denver Broncos broadcast team for iHeartMedia Denver. I’m proof that hard work can make dreams come true. As a kid I used to drive my friends crazy doing play-by-play on the baseball and football fields.”

Polumbus is a Denver native who played football for the Denver Broncos, University of Colorado, and Cherry Creek High School. He also spent time with the Washington Redskins, Seattle Seahawks, and Atlanta Falcons before rejoining the Broncos, ending his career as a Super Bowl Champion.

Tim Hager, President of iHeartMedia’s Denver Region, said, “I’m excited to usher in KOA’s 49th season of Broncos football with this team in place. Rick brings a unique skillset and chemistry with Dave [Logan] to the broadcast, while Tyler brings an intimate knowledge of this game, this team, and this city. I can’t wait to see this team at work with the premier play-by-play voice in the league, Dave Logan.”

The new team gets to work August 10 when the Broncos play the Bears.
