Four years ago, Robert McManus plead guilty to two felonies: the sale of unregistered securities and the sale of securities without a license. McManus hosted a Sunday morning show on 700 WLW called Safe Money America. According to the Journal-News, 18 local residents lost $2 million because of McManus’s fraud. The investments were for two oil wells with the promise of as much as 15 to 20 percent return. A judge sentenced McManus to five years. Read more HERE.
