Radio Ink is proud to announce that Forecast 2018 will be co-chaired by Mark Gray, CEO of Katz Media Group, and Chris Weil, CEO and chairman of Momentum Worldwide.

Forecast is the radio industry’s most respected and influential annual financial conference, bringing broadcast executives, investors, and advertisers together to discuss the trends, influences, and policies that will shape radio in the coming year.

“It’s a thrill to have Mark Gray and Chris Weil co-chair Forecast 2018,” says Radio Ink Publisher Deborah Parenti. “Mark’s understanding of the opportunities and challenges ahead will be a rich resource in creating this year’s agenda, and he could not have a better partner in this than Chris Weil. Momentum Worldwide is one of the most dynamic and creative agencies in the world, and the chance to tap Chris’ expertise in branding will inject fresh energy into this year’s conference.”

Mark Gray is chief executive officer of Katz Media Group, overseeing Katz’s radio and television companies and its technology and digital offerings, including programmatic buying platforms.

Gray remarks, “I’m honored to co-chair Radio Ink’s Forecast this year. Radio is America’s number one mass-reach medium, and it’s important we continue to find ways to showcase the power of radio and grow its share of the media mix. Forecast provides a vital forum, uniting our industry under one roof to exchange valuable insights and discuss effective strategies for 2018.”

Gray has been one of Radio Ink’s Most Powerful People in Radio for six consecutive years, and he is a member of the RAB’s Executive Committee. He is also on the board of directors of the Broadcasters Foundation of America and the board of trustees of the Alliance for Women in Media.

Chris Weil is chairman and CEO of Momentum Worldwide, one of the world’s largest brand experience agencies, working in what he calls the “phygital” world — the inseparable physical and digital world where all brand experiences lie.

Weil has global experience in brand marketing as the former regional director for Momentum Europe/Middle East and Africa and leader of the European network; under his direction, Momentum has won multiple Agency of the Year honors across 10 countries. As chairman of the 4A’s, he helped launch the organization’s high school initiative, working to give students skills and experience toward careers in the advertising and marketing worlds.

“At Momentum, we image and curate a total brand experience — creating meaningful connections for our clients and their brands,” says Weil. “Radio has a strong emotional connection with its audience. Forecast is a great opportunity for the radio industry to collaborate and explore new, impactful ways to help build its brands and deliver unique experiences for advertisers.”

Forecast brings together the best and brightest talent in broadcasting and advertising to forecast the coming year, to discuss the trends and momentums that will affect ratings and revenue. From Washington to Wall Street, automobiles to mobile devices, Forecast focuses on what’s ahead in the broadcast community’s future and how to prepare for its opportunities and challenges.

This is the industry’s only forum that allows radio owners, CFOs, group executives, managers, and Wall Street analysts to gather for an open exchange on conditions and expectations for the coming year. Forecast’s “no press” policy encourages frank and candid discussion — it’s a must-attend event.

The conference concludes with the networking event of the year, the annual “Top 40” cocktail reception, honoring Radio Ink’s 40 Most Powerful People in Radio.

Registration to this event is limited. Don’t miss this opportunity to join broadcast’s leaders and trendsetters November 15 at New York’s prestigious Harvard Club for a day that can help set your company’s course for the coming year: Forecast 2018.
