Yamanair Creative was launched in 2000 and provides stations in over 330 markets with creative services via the brands Cash-by-Creative and SPECByte. Compass CEO Peter Kosann tells Radio Ink the reason for this purchase. “The mission of Compass Media Networks is to provide terrestrial radio with awesome products and services that help make our affiliates money, save them money, and/or boost their ratings – for every format, every daypart, and every genre.”

Companies already using the products from Yamanair Creative include Alpha Media, Beasley, CBS Radio, Cherry Creek Radio, Cromwell Broadcasting, Connoisseur Media, Entercom, Hubbard, Saga, Townsquare, and Urban One.

Founder Yaman Coskun stays on as CEO of the company and adds the title of Chief Creative Officer for Compass Media Networks. Kosann said, “We welcome Yaman and his very talented team to the Compass Media Networks family with open arms. We look forward to working with Yaman and helping him to enhance his vision of arming radio stations with awesome local creative.”

Kosann also told Radio Ink Yaman is a dynamic leader and innovator, who will help drive Compass Media Networks to new heights creatively. “Second, radio stations need killer commercial production. A salesperson armed with a great spec spot is a salesperson who will eat steak tonight after closing an exclusive piece of business. Yamanair puts cash in salespeople’s pockets. At Compass Media Networks, we want our affiliates to make money. So we put our cash on the line to buy Yamanair so our affiliates can have steak dinners all the time.”
