iHeartMedia’s “102.9 Now,” in Dallas adds Kannon to the 2 p.m. -7 p.m. slot as of June 1. Kannon began his radio career at age 15 in Raleigh. He most recently co-hosted mornings at KVIL in Dallas. He also worked as morning host at KLIF and mix show DJ in Boston for the nationally syndicated program, Open House Party. He’s worked in Raleigh, Portland, Atlanta and Philadelphia.
