The station is FM 949 (KBZT) in San Diego and it will join fellow Entercom stations 94.7 FM (KNRK) Portland, and 99.9 FM (KISW) and 107.7 The End FM (KNDD) Seattle, in the ongoing partnership with Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy Foundation. Since forming the partnership in 2015, the Portland and Seattle stations have raised over $200,000 for the cause. The Vitalogy Foundation was founded in 2006 and supports the efforts of non-profit organizations focused on community health, the environment, arts and education, and social change.

Dave Richards, VP of Programming, Entercom Seattle, said, “We’re so proud to go into our third year in this partnership with Pearl Jam, to bring funding to local organizations through all of our collective fans.”

“We’re so happy to have found partners who can help increase our support of local charities simply by directing a portion of proceeds from their live concert events to our Foundation,” said Stone Gossard, Pearl Jam guitarist and Vitalogy Foundation board member.
