Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame DJ and The Bone 107.7/KSAN-FM midday personality Steven Seaweed is retiring. His last broadcast will be June 30. Seaweed debuted in Rock radio on KLRB-FM in Carmel, CA, on New Year’s Eve, 1972. Six years later he joined KSAN-FM (then known as “The Jive 95”), where he did weekends on the rocker through its format change to Country in 1980. He’s also worked at KFAT-FM, KWSS-FM, KRQR-FM, and KLLC-FM before rejoining KSAN in 1997, his home for the last 20 years.
