The popular annual seminar, presented by the Radio Advertising Bureau, Broadcast Music, and the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group, will be held August 16-17 at BMI’s Nashville office. Once again, BMI will offer 20 scholarships to cover the cost of the professional development course, which is designed to foster and educate current and emerging female radio managers within broadcast radio.

“Rising Through the Ranks is in its 10th year, and it continues to be our foremost initiative,” noted Kay Olin, partner, Olin & Associates, and spokesperson for the MIW Radio Group. “This two-day intensive professional development workshop allows us to continue to mentor and motivate female sales managers with the goal of helping them climb their corporate ladders.”

“BMI is honored to support up-and-coming female radio executives in their effort to ‘break through the glass ceiling’ and rise through the ranks,” added Mike Steinberg, Senior Vice President, Licensing, BMI.

“We are excited to be celebrating ten years of the Rising Through the Ranks initiative. Our lists of impressive presenters continue to grow, presenting a worthwhile opportunity for scholarship winners to learn from our industry’s top executives,” said Erica Farber, President and CEO, Radio Advertising Bureau.
