Where There’s A WIIL There’s A Way

95 WIIL Rock (WIIL-FM) in Kenosha, WI, has raised $127,385 for St. Baldrick’s during their annual event, held March 4 at The Legendary Brat Stop in Kenosha. This is the 10th year WIIL Rock has done this event. The Tom and Emily Morning Show broadcasted live, and host Tom Kief shaved his head and personally raised almost $34,000. Kief also helped arrange for Royal Bliss to perform at the event. The band used their international social media connections to assist in raising funds.

Alpha Media Waukegan-Kenosha Market Manager Karl Wertzler said, “95 WIIL ROCK is proud to continue the St. Baldrick’s partnership, and I’m personally proud of Tom for his commitment to making a great event.”

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

  1. Think about it, not New York, not L.A., not even Chicago has a dj that raises that kind of dough for St. Baldricks, and every year he raises more.
