The two sides in Todd Clem’s ratings tampering case have requested the judge appoint a mediator. The first time they tried mediation back in July it failed, however, in a recent court filing, both Nielsen and Clem say Significant discovery activities have taken place over the last several months and the parties have jointly determined that a second mediation conference, led by a United States Magistrate Judge, would be productive and may lead to a resolution of this matter. Nielsen accuses Clem of ratings tampering by contacting PPM panelists, and is asking Clem for $1 million in damages.
