The stations – WXMA, WDJX, WGZB, WMJM, and WGHL – raised an incredible $890,000 from the marathon, November 17-18. They broadcast live from Norton Children’s Hospital, which was also the beneficiary of the radiothon. In a nice touch, each station took the name of a child treated by the hospital: 99.7 WDJX – 99.7 Audrey FM; 102.3 The Max – 102.3 Aiden FM; Magic 101.3 – Scharnese 101.3; B 96.5 – Boogie 96.5.
Alpha Media Operations Manager Ben Davis said, “I want to personally thank everyone on our team for helping raise over $890,000 for Norton Children’s Hospital. That is a huge number for the hospital, the kids, and our community!”
