The retailer took the Media Monitors top spot last week by airing over 39,500 commercials on radio stations across the country. That was enough to nudge The Home Depot down to number two. The home improvement big box cranked out 38,000 spots. GEICO was third with 36,460. Kohls jumped from 15th to fourth with 36,329 commercials, and Burger King and McDonald’s were fifth and sixth respectively, as the two burger chains battled it out with BK airing about 500 more spots than McDonald’s.
