Analyst Revises 2017 Advertising Outlook

Brian Wieser, Senior Media Analyst From Pivotal Research Group, is downgrading his projections for 2017. He says there will be tough 2016 comps as the year turned out to be much better than expected. Wiser told investors, “We are revising our 2017 forecast to a +2.0% growth rate for the year ahead.” His original forecast was an increase of 2.8%. Wieser says 2016 grew 5%, the ad industry’s best year since 2005.
