Motor Racing Network’s Radio Advisory Council met this year in Kansas City to discuss growth opportunities for the network and its radio partners. The council, consisting of a rotating panel of 12 radio partners, was conceived in 2013 to encourage improved communications between the network and radio stations, and to exchange ideas to promote audience and revenue growth for NASCAR radio content.
The council met last year’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion, Kyle Busch, in Victory Lane at Kansas Speedway right after he won the “Kansas Lottery 300” NASCAR Xfinity Series event. Later that evening, they met with MRN President David Hyatt and Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace, who took them for some pretty spectacular pace-car rides around Kansas Speedway.
