The FCC”S Media Bureau has hit Pinebrook Corporation’s WINW-AM in Canton with a $13,000 NAL for failing to file a timely license renewal application and engaging in unauthorized operation of the station. The Commission says the station continued operating the Station for more than six years after a 2004 application was dismissed. “Licensees are obligated to comply fully with the Rules and the Act, including filing timely renewal applications and maintaining in effect the station’s authorization.
