With the festive season fast approaching, Albany, NY, Classic Rock station PYX 106 hosted the 2016 Toys for Tots Bike Run on October 23, collecting over 500 toys and $7,600 cash in the process. The whole bounty will go to Capital Region Toys for Tots, an organization that collects Christmas toys and gifts for the less fortunate children in the community. The bike run started at Brunswick Harley Davidson and featured over 400 motorcyclists riding through Troy, Waterford, Clifton Park, Niskayuna, Schenectady, and Glenville.

“We are always so appreciative of the generosity of our PYX 106 listeners,” said John Cooper, PYX 106 on-air personality and iHeartMedia Regional Vice President of Programming for the Hartford Region. “The Biker Community, of which I am proud to be a part of, has once again shown how caring they are. The kids in need in the Capital Region will have holiday gifts this year thanks to this kindness.”
