Jess Wright takes on the newly created role of Country Music Format Captain at Slacker. She will oversee all things country from her home office in Nashville. Wright has hosted several Slacker stations since 2013. She spent a decade in radio with stops in Wichita, Wilkes‐Barre, Frederick and Memphis. In 2010 she was named Personality of the Year by the Academy of Country Music. In 2013, she took on her most recent role as the Associate Radio Editor at Country Aircheck.
