Alpha Media’s KZEN held a Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon and raised $15,887. Market Manager, Lisa Cherry said, “Behind every dark cloud is a ray of sunshine. The volunteers here at Alpha Media, Columbus, did their best to spread hope and sunshine to those needing it at the Children’s Hospital in Omaha.”
“Thanks so much to KZEN for partnering with Children’s Hospital & Medical Center on our 6th Annual CMN Hospitals Radiothon, which raised nearly $16,000!” said Beth Greiner, Executive Director and Chief Development Officer of Children’s Foundation. “All funds raised stay local and support important programs, life-saving equipment, and vital research to help the center meet kids’ unique healthcare needs. Many of the services Children’s provides are not reimbursed, and no child in need of medical care is ever turned away for an inability to pay. That’s why we’re so grateful to KZEN and their listeners for their generous support.”
