Westwood Ready To Kick Off The Season

The nation’s most popular sport begins its regular season this week and as usual Westwood One will have all the action. It’s the company’s 30th year as the exclusive network radio partner for the NFL.

All regular season and post-season games – including Super Bowl LI – will be broadcast, including 17 Sunday afternoon doubleheaders. That’s a total of 104 games sent out over the airwaves by 500 stations nationwide, as well as SiriusXM, TuneIn, and through NFL Game Pass, reaching more than 30 million people.

The 2016-2017 NFL regular season kicks off when the Super Bowl Champion Denver Broncos host the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night, September 8, 2016 in a rematch of Super Bowl 50.

On-air presenters include Kevin Harlan, Boomer Esiason, Kurt Warner, Jim Gray, Scott Graham, Kevin Kugler, James Lofton, Ian Eagle, Tony Boselli, Mike Holmgren, Tom McCarthy, John Sadak, Jason Taylor, Mike Mayock, and Ross Tucker.
