Jim Hampton, from KKIQ and KKDV (East Bay) helped fundraising efforts for the Taylor Family Foundation at the Day in the Park auction fundraiser in Livermore, CA. Over $2 million dollars was raised on the day, with all proceeds going directly to funding and facilitating the Foundation’s mission of providing wellness programs for Northern California kids with life-threatening chronic illnesses and developmental disabilities. Since its inception in 1990, TTFF has raised close to $30 million to better the lives of 60,000 children.
Hampton commented, “I can’t believe all of the people who opened up their wallets to help the kids. It was a great day and we are happy to have assisted in sending so many kids to camp!”
