Cumulus has appointed 35-year Youngstown market radio veteran Bill Kelly as VP/Market Manager for its eight-station cluster in Youngstown, OH. He’ll begin October 3rd and he replaces Brad Marshall who was promoted to that position two years ago and has left the company.

Kelly said, “After meeting with CEO Mary Berner and other senior leaders at Cumulus, I knew I had to take advantage of this opportunity. I can’t thank them enough. The Cumulus brands as well as the staff are well positioned. I look forward to helping them get to the next level.”

Kelly has a long career in Youngstown radio, starting with the original owners of WKBN-AM and helping to build the six-station iHeart Media cluster when it was first acquired by Jacor in 1997. He retired from iHeart Media in late February, where he was Regional President of a territory that included Youngstown, as well as Washington Court House in Ohio and three West Virginia markets.
