The Fayetteville Observer has the details about long-time WRCQ host Ann Thomas who died before going on the air Monday. No details about her death were given. PD Kelvin Culbreth tells the newspaper it would have been Thomas’ return to the station after a year-long absence. Thomas spent much of her radio career with WRCQ, also known to listeners as “Rock 103.” Former GM Howard Johnson once dubbed Thomas”The Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll.”
